Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Insane Miata. We want to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting refunds for products purchased from our website.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

1.1. To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in the same condition as received.

  • The product must be returned within 14 days of the original purchase date.

  • The product must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation.

1.2. Certain products may not be eligible for refunds due to hygiene reasons, safety concerns, or other restrictions. These products will be clearly marked as non-refundable on the product page.

2. Refund Process

  To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer service team at info@insanemiata.com to initiate the refund process. Please provide your order number, the reason for the refund request, and any relevant details.

  • All returns/exchanges must be notified to and authorized by the sales representative within 14 days of delivery. No returns are permitted without an RMA number and authorization by us, otherwise all returns will not be accepted and delivery will be refused.

  • No returns will be accepted if the product has been opened from original packaging or has been used. No returns will be accepted after 14 days of receipt. ALL returns will be subject to a service charge of 25% restocking fee. Special order and/or custom items are not returnable and/or are subject to 35% restocking fee under our discretion. Original shipping costs to the customer and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
    American Express Credit card users will be charged an additional 5% fee if item is returned for a refund or order cancelled after payment.

  • All special orders and non-stock item returns are not refundable.

  • All returns must be accompanied by order ID number or RMA number.

  • Upon receipt of the returned product, we will inspect it to ensure that it meets the eligibility criteria for a refund.

  • Parts must be in new, re-sellable condition, and in their original packing. NO PAINTED OR OTHERWISE ALTERED PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR CREDITED.

  • If the product is approved for a refund, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 3-7 business days.

  • Insane Miata Motorsports LLC and affiliated vendors, reserve the right to reject returns on non-defective products. Returns will be handled on a case by case basis.

  • Items shipped by special delivery or truck freight are not subject to returns. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. If item is damaged it must be signed for as Damaged upon delivery otherwise it is not eligible for exchange.

  • Some products may be damaged during transit. Inspect all packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Do not sign delivery receipt until all packages have been inspected. In the event that damage has occurred, physically write "damaged" on the delivery bill and have the delivery person sign it as verification. Retain all boxes and other packaging material as package may be subject to inspection by the carrier. Call us within 24 hours to file a claim request. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a denial for damage claim.

  • All product warranties if any implied have been done so at the discretion of the manufacturer. If you need warranty assistance on any product you've purchased, please contact the manufacturer directly.

  • Under no circumstances shall Insane Miata Motorsports, LLC and affiliated vendors be liable for any labor charged or travel time incurred in diagnosis for defects, removal, or reinstallation of this product, or any other contingent expenses.

3. Non-Refundable Items

   To summarize, the following items are non-refundable:

  • Products that have been used, damaged, or altered in any way.

  • Products that are not returned in their original packaging.

  • Products that are returned after the specified return period.

  • Products marked as non-refundable on the product page.

4. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product. If applicable, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

  • REFUSED SHIPMENTS: Any customer who refused delivery of an order will be required to pay the original shipping charges, the additional return freight charges, and a 25% restocking fee or 35% on special order items. These charges must be paid in full before any future orders will be shipped.

5. Damaged or Defective Products

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately to arrange for a replacement or refund. We may request photographic evidence of the damage or defect to assist with the resolution process.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

  • Warranty granted for manufacturing defects only. Please read warranty paperwork supplied with your product for more information.

  • Warranty replacements and repair granted a maximum two (2) times during the specified warranty period, including but now excluded to lifetime warranty items.
